Why isn't there a Two-Factor Authentication function?

The security of accounts on Spreadshirt/Spreadshop should be taken more seriously. More and more we are hearing in the news about security breaches, and even today there was a Security Incident email from Spreadshop:
“We are writing to inform you that we recently had a security incident where an unauthorized third party attempted to access our platform. We are currently investigating this incident and which data might have been affected. Data security is of the highest importance and our top priority is to investigate what happened while continuing to provide maximal protection to our platform. You can find all relevant information on a dedicated help page which will be updated as soon as more information is available.”

I recognize that this message may be a more appropriate fit under the “Feature Request” forum, however I’m unable to post there (maybe due to me still being a newbie in these forums), however considering the seriousness of such a topic, I think this is an important exception that can be made to have it listed is particular forum.

In short, it’s high time to finally implement Two-Factor Authentication.

Hi @ChessNetwork,

thanks for the tip and your concern. As mentioned in the E-Mail, data security does have highest priority here at Spreadshop and Spreadshirt. The constant improvement of our data security is also part of that.
That’s why we take this incident very seriously and investigate it thoroughly. I will forward your suggestion to our specialists and we’ll look into it.

Thank you for reading my message @Britta_Spreadshop. I appreciate what you said in your reply about data security, and thank you for passing along the suggestion to the specialists. Have a nice day. :grinning:
