what site can you design t shirt messages? It looks like spreadshirt only allows uploads and does not have a create your own design for store owners?

Indeed you can only upload designs. If you want to use text designs then you should also use a simple graphic tool (you can find some exmples here: Spreadshop Tool Box - Improve your digital marketing efforts | Spreadshop) and then upload the text to your partner area

If i export simple text design to .svg, Spreadshirt-site doesnt accept it. “Cant print”
You need to make sure that the vector graphic follows our requirements: https://help.spreadshop.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010420600
Or just save it as a PNG since most of our graphics are printed digitally anyways
