What happened to the Free Shipping promos?

Are we just going to ignore the fact that the free shipping promos that had been scheduled for june and july have been removed and replaced with the worthless 15%-off-but-half-the-cost-is-paid-by-the-seller ones? Does “Since masks i.e. individual product types cannot be technically excluded from free shipping promotions all upcoming ‘Free Shipping’ promotions will instead become ‘15% Off Everything’ promotions” even make any sense? Why should a shady technical limitation of yours impact on us designers?

I noticed that today. What and why???

the way they put it,

masks are being sold by the ton —> they can’t afford promos for masks —> for some unspecified “technical reason” individual products cannot be excluded from free shipping promos —> all of the free shipping promos will be replaced with 15%-off ones

sounds like a load of rubbish, quite frankly.

:thinking::thinking::thinking: hmmmmmmmmm

Hey everyone, it’s temporary. We hope to be back with some more Free Shipping Promos soon :slight_smile:

The main reason is that we needed to exclude masks from our promotions but technically it wasn’t possible to exclude masks from free shipping promotions. Therefore we had to change the Free Shipping Promotions in 15% of everything promos!

That’s what I wrote. What’s missing here is a much needed honest clarification on the nature of these “technical reasons”; on why you are not doing anything to circumvent them; on why they should affect us sellers and not you.

Why not suspend the spreadshirt/seller cost split for the 15% promos that are replacing the free shipping in june and july? That would be a token of goodwill on your part, and level things out. Instead, as things stand, you are clearly taking advantage of the situation. And also the fact that sellers were not notified speaks volumes
