Hello,
I would like to ask why our designs in spreadshops are not secured with a watermark (all designs in the marketplace are always presented with a watermarked logo). Now everyone can just save a design on their computer and use it as they wish. Is it possible to change it?
Hi Ella,
technically it was too complex to implement the logo of a shop owner on top of the design and we obviously do not want to show a “spreadshirt” logo on top of YOUR designs in YOUR shop. Therefore this hasn’t been implemented.
Oh, it is totally understood but I thought it could be e.g. a vertical or horizontal line, something neutral and simple. That’s my suggestion.
I agree with Ella. It would be nice to be able to hide the design when it’s shown as a standalone image, or to upload a “printable” version for the products, and a “display” version, for whenever the customer wants to see the design in detail.
I understand that there are many complications that Spreadshop faces, and that we are not aware of, but it would be a nice implementation.
Thanks for your feedback guys. I’ve forwarded it but just to also be realistic with you. This isn’t something that has been prioritized for next 6 months at least. What the future beholds can change every few months in our new prioritization sessions…
Is there any place where we can check the list of newly added features or those changes that are planned to be implemented in the near future?
Thanks.
New Features are announced here: Spreadshop Features - The Spreadshop Blog (at the bottom of the page)
Planned features are not communicated (because things can often change last-minute)
