I just wonder if it is possible to have two graphic files, one white for dark colours and one black for light colours show up as one design?
I have seen a shop who have up to five different colours for one design but only one colour as seen as a design on the main page. I am talking about designs with only one colour. It is also a few products that my designs are too small for so I have to do a bigger version to fit but I don’t want it to show up as one more design.
What’s the shop where you saw this? This is possible with vector designs. Your customers can then adapt it when the click on the customize tool.
It would be very cool if the designers could pre-select the design-colors for vector designs per shirt color, so for black and gray shirts, the design should be white, for light colored shirts, the design should be black etc.
But I guess that would make the upload process a bit more complicated.

Maybe it is vector. I have tried vector myself but they are always rejected. Guess I have to learn more. But on the other hand, I have only done a few designs with texts so far.
I have been on CP for several years and there is it standard and you can play with one design as much as you want. And also have several of the same t-shirt with different motive colours. There you just upload a separate picture for the design.
I think your interface is very static and need to upgrade to make it easier and more flexible for designers.
