New languages/ customised options

Hi everyone

I was wondering if there is any way we may be able to edit the language files/options. I understand that it might be quite difficult for Spreadshop to offer every language in the world, but it would be nice if we were able to edit the settings ourselves.

My current target audience is primarily Catalan-speaking; my SSNN accounts, messages, the information I post on my website is all in Catalan. Sadly, the eShop is a mixture of Catalan and Spanish. I would be very happy to translate the description of my products, buttons, menus and so on if I were given the chance.

Hi again!

I would really appreciate any type of reply. Identity plays a very important role in the brand I am trying to create, and language (as you may imagine) is a key factor there. There’s over 10 million Catalan speakers, so I really don’t see why we shouldn’t be able to reach them.

I’m not asking you to do the translations. I’m simply requesting that we may do so ourselves.

You know: “If you talk to a [person] in a language [they] understand, that goes to [their] head. If you talk to [them] in [their] language, that goes to [their] heart”

Hey there, sorry. This isn’t possible at the moment No such feature is planned in the near future but I have forwarded your request!

And of course I understand how important it is and how much more likely it would be if your customers can order in Catalan but unles you’re a total API / technical wizard there’s no easy option. Ok, but this shouldn’t be the case either. As a non-native, can you please post two links or screenshots of a Spanish example in the shop vs. a Catalan example. There shouldn’t be a mix ideally

Sorry, but I think I don’t completely understand what you mean

It’s simply that everything I edit on my wordpress page will be in Catalan (including plugins), in addition to some editable texts from Spreadshop, but most automated texts from the integrated spreadshop will be in Spanish.
