I was wondering if it is possible to have one design used on multiple of the same type of shirts?
With each shirt having a different size and position for the design.
For example:
The only way I noticed doing this is by uploading the same design twice which is quite inconvenient.

Yes and you got also the answer, that’s the way how to do it.
Can you work with that or does that cause you problems?
Thank you for your answer. It’s not a problem but now when adding the ‘Topics’ section to the startpage we get the same design twice. Would be nice if we could show product previews per Topic on the startpage 
You can edit, which of the designs you want to be shown per topic. Simply deactivate the doubled one. Then, your fans should only see it once.
