I am looking into hiring a graphic designer to make some designs for me. I have watched many vidoes on the pro’s and cons of hiring a designer and am worried about getting a design that is in fact stolen!
Is there a site or toll you can use to check if a design is copyrighted, or been used before?
Also is it common practice to request that the design that the designer makes for you, will not be re-sold to someone else?
I think this is relatively difficult.

@Salama I guess all we can do is check designer references/reviews to better our chances of getting a genuine designer. Thanks for the info. Wen.
You can cross reference the design with Google Image Search.
