Help! I messed up embedding website!

Hi someone can help me. I tried to embed my shop to my free wix website and for what ever reason it seemed to mess up my spreadshirt store link even though I followed the correct procedure. . I can add designs but when i go to preview shop or if i try to go to my spreadshirt store in a new browser its redirecting me to a blank wix page. I presume the code needs to be taken out but I don’t know how to do that.

Is your shop embedded via the copy&paste code snippet from the shop admin? (see screenshot below)

If so, please check the correct spelling of the URL that you have definded in the “Connect your Shop & Website”.
The URL there needs to be identic to the page URL you have set in your website builder(CMS).
This setting is needed to tell the shop “where to appear” within your domain. e.g. www.mydirtywebsite.net/shop

Hey Thomas thanks for getting back to me. Yeah I did that. The site wouldn’t take the code but opened it just with the domain and seemed fine but then just went to a blank page and I can’t seem to reset it. I’m not the best at this in fairness but it appeared pretty straight forward. Is there any way I can undo it and go back to just my spreadshirt shop. This my shop link if ya wanna see where its taking me. https://shop.spreadshirt.ie/vendorfox. I even deleted the page on the site but its still redirecting me and I i build a new page and re enter the domains the same thing happen.

You should speak with WIX or read the stuff if you dind’t do this before.
The problem seams to be on WIX. And in WIX I see that you need something that is called WIX Code to use JavaScript. Wix Support.
The embedded JavaScript from Spreadshirt work fine and if your provider dosn’t support it right you need to speak with them.

I am not familiar with Wix maintenance and requirements, so I can only speak for Shop-sided solution.

Just to make sure, Robbie: Is that URL the final name wherein the shop should appear?

To me this looks like a temporary generated one where the should should not be forwardet to.
(but as said, I no guarantee)
