EU / UK VAT and taxation

Hi, I’m just setting up my shop and have seen this section about taxation ID, Germany and a whole host of stuff I don’t understand.

I run a small UK company that is not VAT registered and doesn’t have to be yet, so I have no VAT ID. What do I do?

I searched the forum and someone previously asked this but it looks like there was no response.
