Do I need to be VAT registered (UK)

Hi. This is a simple (and possible stupid, apologies) question:
I’m am trying to register as a Marketplace partner so I can sell my designs for t shirts etc.
In the payment + tax details to fill in - 2 things become apparent:

  1. If I want to give my bank details it ‘seems’ that I need a special “International” Bank Account in addition to my regular bank account - is this right??
  2. The instructions are slightly ambiguous - and seem to suggest I need to be ‘VAT Registered’ (as we say in UK) - I am a sole trader graphic designer who doesn’t earn anywhere near enough to require VAT registration in UK. (I have no problem supplying my regular Tax ID) - am I overthinking it and is my ‘regular’ Tax ID actually enough?
    Again apologies if this should be obvious, but would be very grateful of some answers so I can proceed.

  1. No you dont need a special “International” Bank Account.
  2. your regular TaxID is enough to avoid the deduction of the withholding tax.

If this doesn’t work you can make a screenshot of an errormessage and send it to partner@spreadshirt.net. The colleagues will help you.

OR: you can enter a paypal account.
