Hi. I’m embedding my shop into a Wordpress site and find that it looks a bit strange. In that, the embedded shop has a header showing my logo, etc, and the page it’s embedded into also has a header with the same. To a visitor, this would be confusing.
A fix is to have no logo on the shop, but then there’s a duplicate menu, duplicate About menu item, social icons, etc.
If I use a WP page that has no header, then the menu on the shop has no menu item to return to the main website. Once you go to that page there’s no way to return.
Can I add a menu item to the Spreadshop menu that directs to my main website?
Has anybody solved these issues and can you please advise how?
Give everything you won’t use a display: none. Header, menu and maybe the breadcrumb. Use the css editor in your partner area. You dont need the top menu if you are not using the spreadshop start page and if the first page of your shop is a category like “men”. Because there is a sidemenu instead. And thats it.
So you can use your own wp menu, header and breadcrumb. Put the shop in a subpage and a shop link in your menu and built a good webpage around your shop.
Thanks for that, but it doesn’t work for me.
I deactivated the Start Page but I still see the header etc. The products now show All Products only.
So how can I hide the header and menu?
I tried using CSS to hide the header on my website, but it also hides the Spreadshop header.
Even if I deeplink to a category like ‘Men’ the header remains.
